OYO 23303 Hotel Blue Heaven

Renovation and maintenance work mean the hotel isn’t fully operational yet. Still, they’re offering AC rooms by the month at affordable rates.

The room was decent, but there was only one AC remote for the whole hotel, so we couldn’t turn the cooling up or down. The fan regulator was stuck at full speed too, and nobody responded despite repeated reminders. We stayed from September 1 to September 4. The reception staff should be welcoming and smile, but that was missing. There is a lift, though they said it was being repaired, which wasn’t true. I’d suggest staying here only in an emergency, if there’s nowhere else.

I know it’s a budget hotel and don’t expect much in cleanliness or facilities, but I do expect to feel safe. The owner, who sits in the lobby, acted like a goon and tried to pick a fight with us. When we asked for two extra glasses, he threatened to throw us out and said, “cheap people come from online bookings.” Better safe than sorry.

The owner and staff behaved terribly and misled us. We were given a dirty non-AC room on the third floor, and they asked for a lot more money if we wanted a lower floor. It felt like a horror place, the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
