Ray Of Maya Retreat and Resorts

The staff at The Ray of Maya were so kind, friendly, and helpful, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was fabulous, while the restaurant served top-class food in a lovely setting. The rooms were beautifully designed and decorated, with amazing attention to detail and really comfortable beds. Everything in the hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for Agra, just a 5-minute walk from Taj Mahal. It’s great value for money, and after staying in many places in India, this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in. I hope to return, and would definitely recommend booking.

Finding the hotel can be a little tricky the first time. It would help if they sent guests the exact Google Maps location link in advance, so tourists could reach it without confusion. Apart from that, we had a really good stay at Ray Of Maya Retreat. It had solid 3-star amenities, and the property was clean throughout. The rooms were neat, well-maintained, and comfortable for a family, and it felt safe and peaceful while travelling with a kid. Booking was simple and hassle-free since you can contact the manager directly to reserve. A comfortable, budget-friendly place near Taj Mahal, and definitely recommended. 👍

It’s a brilliant location, within 500 metres of the Taj Mahal. We liked our stay so much that we added 2 extra nights. The suites are across the road from their other hotel and restaurant, where we had a really tasty breakfast. The hotel has been newly renovated, with beautiful decor and furnishings, which is unusual in India.

Being so close to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort made sightseeing easy, and the room rate felt like good value. At Ray of Maya Hotel, everything was clean and well kept. Arsh at reception was courteous and answered all our questions respectfully. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.
