Manthan A Boutique Resort

We found snakes just outside our room, which left us feeling unsafe for the whole stay. The food was terrible, easily one of my worst dining experiences, and the management was highly unprofessional. The manager was rude and unhelpful, dismissing every request with “not possible” without trying to assist. When we raised our concerns, we were told to leave Manthan Resort in Rishikesh at around 10:30 PM. That was shocking and unacceptable, and left us feeling helpless and stuck with no real choice but to get through the night. I’d advise people to avoid this place. It wasn’t worth the money or the risk to our comfort, safety, and peace of mind.

We spent two nights at the resort last winter. The staff were really helpful and set up a bonfire for us. Dancing and having fun all night was a blast.

There’s plenty to do here, from volleyball, badminton, and cricket to two kinds of Burma Bridge and a plunge pool for adventure seekers. You can also have a party with music and a bonfire. The cottages have modern amenities, and there’s organic food and local mineral water. The place sits in the middle of nature, with mountains, forest, flora and fauna, a river, trails, and sunshine all around. Laxman Jhula Bridge provides access.

I stayed a full week and left with a real boost of energy. The staff and location were great, and it felt like a warm place to stay. The food was great too.
