The Orchid Villa

For the price, this is a really great place. The hotel is in a quiet area, and one of the cleanest I've seen in Agra. The room wasn't large, but it was cozy. Staff were kind, patient, and ready to help with whatever we needed. We arrived very late at night, and the owner was still there to welcome us. The only little downside was being able to hear through the walls, and the bathroom ventilation opening onto the corridor. P.S. Wish I had more photos to share than the one attached 😅

I spent almost a week here and would gladly stay again. The owner was the highlight: kind, attentive, and ready to help with everything. He arranged transport to the Taj Mahal and a tour of Agra Fort, helped me find souvenirs at fair prices, and even sorted out last-minute Holi plans. After I missed my flight, he organized an airport pickup from Delhi, then made sure I had snacks and water for my early departure. His prices were reasonable and he handled the details smoothly. The room had everything I needed, including strong air conditioning and fast, reliable internet for video calls and work. The place was clean, in a safe, walkable neighborhood near shops, restaurants, and ATMs, and within walking distance of the Taj Mahal and Taj Nature Walk. I'd recommend it especially to solo women travelers or anyone who wants a comfortable, hassle-free visit.

I was traveling alone in India and got really sick when I reached Agra. The host looked after me, made sure I had enough to drink and rest, and arranged medicine. With his help, I recovered quickly and was able to see the Taj Mahal :) He was so kind and caring. I highly recommend staying here in Agra, especially for women traveling alone. Thank you so much for everything, Arif!

I stayed for one night at the end of Dec’24. The room and staff made it one of my best stays. I wish other hotels would learn to keep rooms this neat and clean while charging a reasonable price. The villa is within 2km of the Taj Mahal.
