Charyana Hotel AC Dormitory

A convenient place with good connections to the city center. It’s comfortable for a rest stop, and you can pay according to how long you stay. The bed, bathroom, and washroom were comfortable, and the staff were dedicated to their work.

The stay itself was comfortable, but I gave cleanliness one star because of the hygiene problems. Bed linens and pillowcases apparently aren’t changed between checkouts, which is a serious health and sanitation risk when travelers come from different places. The common bathrooms also need more attention: with so many guests, twice-a-day cleaning isn’t enough, and they need hourly cleaning plus a deep clean to remove the accumulated stains.

Good facilities, clean rooms, and nice staff behavior, all at a budget-friendly price. I had a good stay and would choose this place for a visit to Ahmedabad if looking for an affordable option.

The location is prime, but the price doesn’t feel justified, and there are better dormitories within 1-2 km. The beds are uncomfortable and the washrooms extremely dirty, making this one of the most unhygienic places I’ve stayed. Dormitory Charyana Heights may show up on reels or booking apps, but it offers a non-AC basement dorm with a very bad smell and a shared AC dorm for both males and females. They also charge ₹500 extra for lockers, even though that amount is refundable and lockers are a basic amenity provided free at most dormitories. Staff can be cooperative, though at times their behavior is rude. You might manage one night here, but I’d look at other options nearby.
