Hotel Aaram Orchard was a pleasant place to stay. The location was fairly convenient, though a bit far from the main attractions. Staff helped when I made requests, and the service was adequate. The room was acceptable but could use some updating. 😌

It's a budget hotel in a nice spot, close to the World’s famous Institute NID and Sabarmati riverfront. The rooms are cozy, though the building is old. There was no parking, and maybe no service. 👍

We waited in the lounge longer than expected because the rooms weren't ready at the scheduled time. We had to freshen up in other rooms instead.

The rooms were good and well maintained, though the AC units are quite old. Parking was the main issue: the property said it had parking, but a young night duty manager kept refusing and was rude and unhelpful. One day duty manager did help and managed to arrange a spot. Aside from that, it was a good stay.

We paid 3500₹, and basic things you'd expect at that price were missing. The room had a damp, uncomfortable smell as soon as we walked in. The AC didn't cool, the TV wasn't working, and there was no kettle or complimentary tea and coffee sachets. There was just one not very clean towel, and I spotted a few cockroaches running around. The location was very bad too, and the hotel felt overpriced. I wouldn't recommend booking here.
