Hotel Apsara Guest House by OYO Rooms

I visited in Dec 2017. The bed is old-fashioned and the mattress isn't comfortable. The room looks like a deluxe room, but doesn't offer the comfort you'd expect from one. At 500-600Rs per day, it might be okay, but paying more doesn't seem worth it for this kind of room. It's okay, just don't expect everything a deluxe room offers.

The place felt scary, untidy, and poorly maintained, and there was no water until 7:30 am. The guy maintaining it had a really bad attitude. I rarely give 1 star, but this place doesn't deserve even that. It might suit a bachelor traveler, but I'd never go there with family.

The room was okay, but the sheets were dirty and looked like they'd never been to a laundry room. You had to ask before showering to get hot water, and one day the tank was empty so we had to wait. The bathroom had no working flush, hand faucet, or toilet paper. They also wouldn't accept the Oyo room price when I contacted them directly. On the plus side, staff were polite, rooms spacious, and Punjabi and Gujarati meals were available nearby, about 500m away, and both were decent. It's almost 9 kms from Ahmedabad railway station. Cheap and best for a 2-night stay, but not with family or more than 2 guests. (7/12/2021-10/12/2021)

There was no bathroom mirror, the fittings were improper, and the flush didn't work. Some bathrooms had broken inside locks. Hot water only came after 9 am when the sun heated the solar system. The blankets were dirty and everything felt unmanaged. I didn't like the hotel and would never recommend it.
