Late check-in was no problem, and Manager Shakil Bhai was polite and helpful. He let me use the washroom and other basic facilities without hesitation, and his hospitality stood out. The hotel is budget friendly, with clean rooms and basic facilities, easy access to autos and buses, and plenty of good restaurants nearby. It's in the market area. My experience was very positive, despite the negative reviews, and I'd gladly visit again. Thanks, Shakil Bhai.

Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout my stay, and I appreciated having a proper hot shower. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and service was friendly and attentive. The location was convenient and well connected, and the price was very fair for what you get. A pleasant surprise. I'd definitely recommend it.

We stayed overnight as a family at this good budget hotel and had a comfortable visit. The staff were courteous, and service was great. The rooms and washroom were neat and clean, though the washroom is a little small but manageable. There's a lift, and they provide small sachets of soap, shampoo, and oil. It would improve the experience if they provided a complimentary water bottle at check-in and charged for further ones. Hand wash in the bathroom would also be useful. Thanks for the service.

Fine for a day or two. The location is great, with local transport easy to find, Uber, Ola and Rapido available to book, a shopping market nearby, and Ahmedabad station close by. You can order from the restaurant menu they provide, and they'll bring food to your room. The cleanliness could be better, though. Finding cockroaches under the sofa was disappointing. Overall, okay.

The room was clean and well maintained, although you could see some wear from age. Pest control could be more regular, as I noticed a few small insects. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the staff were friendly, responsive, and prompt. Hotel City Inn, Ahmedabad is 4.2 km, about 20 minutes, from Ahmedabad Railway Station. I stayed three nights and four days. Decent budget option with a family-friendly feel for a short stay in the old city area.
