You get the basics for what you pay. The promotional room photos must owe a lot to good photography skills! The big rooms have only basic items, but breakfast tasted good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to reach from most important places. There was no fridge, and the bathroom was smelly, rusty and poorly maintained. Room delivery was slow. Parking is very limited, and getting a car in from the street is difficult because of the badly designed entrance.

Good value for the money, with complimentary breakfast, coffee and a bottle of water. The rooms were very clean, and water supply was adequate, which can be an issue elsewhere. There's a wheelchair-accessible entrance and an elevator. The location also works well for people coming for visa appointments.

The area is pleasant and the hotel is safe for a family stay, but the staff were only okay and not very professional. It needs maintenance, with many things due for an overhaul. Breakfast is very basic, and the breakfast area has no air conditioning. There's no restaurant.

The staff were very cordial and responsive, and the rooms looked decent. The restrooms weren't maintained very well, though, and the breakfast didn't meet Chennai standards. When staying in Chennai, you'd expect great South Indian food.
