Collection O 76866 Grace Residency

I paid online, but at arrival they said the booking wasn’t valid and asked for extra cash without offering a receipt. I later heard other guests had the same problem, so it felt like a shady setup. The rooms were dirty, smelled bad, and were poorly maintained, and the staff were rude and unhelpful when I complained. Collection O Santhome Residency was nothing like its pictures. It felt like a trap for travelers, and I’d avoid it. There are more honest places nearby.

The broken latch made the door hard to open from inside, and the AC barely cooled. They didn’t give us a remote, probably to save on electricity. There wasn’t water on each floor, and the washroom had no hot water. The rooms weren’t tidy and management didn’t seem professional. They’re very stingy in how they run the place. If you’re expecting a good stay, don’t choose this property.

I left without staying after a really bad arrival. I’d booked an AC room, but they put me on the 6th floor in a non-AC room, and there was no lift. The room itself was awful, and then the rude receptionist wanted more money for the AC room I had already booked. That’s completely unprofessional. OYO should address this and make sure the property matches its listing. Very disappointing.

They said Oyo’s price hadn’t been updated, but a month after I’m writing this, the app still shows the same lower price. At the property, they refused my Oyo booking, said the standard room wasn’t available, and made us cancel and pay them extra directly. We got the same standard room shown in the Oyo app anyway. The person checking in ahead of me ran into the exact same thing, and several other reviews describe it too. I guess this is their business model.
