Hotel Mivaante

I wouldn't suggest staying here if you want some peace. The receptionist was arrogant and unfriendly, and seemed unwilling to understand the customer's point of view. There was also a 5k difference between the room price offline and the rate through clear-trip. Service was very poor. Even something as simple as a water bottle took an hour to arrive after ordering.

I've been on road trips for years, but this was one of the strangest examples of housekeeping and hospitality I've seen. The rooms had cobwebs, the reception was a mess, and at checkout in the morning the staff member wouldn't even get up to point us toward the parking area. From parking through check-in and checkout, everything felt like a negative. The hotel might have been designed to host like a 4 star, but it wasn't worth a star.

The rooms were good in some ways, but mine had dim bathroom lighting and a bad flush. The in-room phone didn't work, so there was no way to call reception. Receptionists were rude, asked for all the documentation, then didn't provide the service I requested.

The property itself was good, with nice rooms and a good location. My experience was still the worst because of the woman at the front desk. She was the rudest person I've encountered in hospitality and didn't know how to speak to or respect guests. When there was no manager or GM around, the staff members representing the hotel were terribly poorly trained. If she keeps working there, I expect more negative reviews.
