Hotel Neel Kamal by OYO Rooms

The bathroom toilet was filthy, with rust all over the bucket, mug, taps, shower, and toilet tap, plus a broken tap. There was no water from night until checkout. When I told reception, they ignored me at first, then only gave half a bucket from their stored water. The receptionist doesn't care about your words or requests, and the owner was very rude too. This was the worst experience. I would have given a negative star if I could. Don't book here. Look elsewhere and check properly first.

The service is good, and if you call, they'll get you anything you ask for, meaning legal things only :p. The hotel could use better hygiene and cleanliness, and the worn, dirty mattress covers and blankets or comforters should be replaced. It would also help to have an in-house kitchen for emergencies, even if there's no full-time restaurant.

It's a good spot for a short stay or a brief business visit, with all the basic amenities. There are plenty of food options and malls outside. The hotel itself doesn't serve food, but you can order from The Grand Thakkar hotel below the Neel Kamal. The location is good. Service is okay, and the staff are supportive, though lazy. You have to request to get the poem clean.

Location is the best part: it's right at the iskon char rasta, with great connections everywhere, and the brts station just outside the building. The staff are nice and service is good, but the rooms need more cleaning and renovation. They're a little below Oyo standards. It's a budget hotel on the building's 4th floor, not a premium property, and could work for solo budget travelers or couples. Not for business travelers. Good for the price I got.
