Hotel Skyland

I booked FabHotel Skyland through Goibibo, with breakfast included, but the staff flat-out refused to provide breakfast. The room was in extremely poor condition, nothing like what FabHotels promises. Staff were rude and unhelpful, and didn’t care about guest comfort. They didn’t even provide basic amenities like mineral water. I trusted the FabHotels brand when I booked, but the stay was a complete letdown. It wasn’t worth the money, and I’d strongly advise others to avoid this property if they expect decent service and hospitality.

The price is far too high for what you get. This place doesn't even feel like a one-star hotel.

The staff are pleasant, but they don't seem to take the initiative. Towels were missing from the room, and bathroom buckets were taken away and never returned. I had to ask for a better room after spending two days in one where the flush didn't work despite repeated complaints, and the tap was faulty too. Things worked properly in the replacement room, though it had no fan. I'm staying here through my company. It's a basic hotel, and the service is pretty average. The complimentary food is fine for taste and quality, but it doesn't match what they say they'll serve. For example, paneer curry and sweets were listed for the complimentary dinner, but only ordinary curries arrived. All those little things add up. My stay has been okay overall.

Getting around the city from here is convenient, and important spots are reasonably close. The WiFi is very good, UPI payments are accepted, and the staff are flexible about payment. I also didn't need to pay anything in advance to book. The friendly staff have clearly put effort into the look of the place, and the rooms are clean and cozy. It works well for a day or two on a budget, somewhere between low-end hotels and pricier ones. The utilities and deeper cleaning could be better, though. The basement parking is awkward to drive through, with pillars packed closely together, so it takes better-than-average driving skill.
