OYO 6478 Hotel Green Land

The manager didn't even seem sorry when I raised these problems, which made a bad stay worse. The TV wasn't working, the lighting was very dim, and there was no ventilation. The bathroom was tiny and filthy too. My room hadn't been cleaned properly: I found matchsticks and cigarettes, plus a Viagra tablet in the drawer. It looked like they hadn't cleaned it after the previous guest.

The manager, Darmendar, got irritated when we asked for anything. He also demanded extra money for an “extra guest,” even though it was just my dad and me and the booking was for two. Whoever runs this place should remove him. And don't believe the fake reviews. The room was filthy, with trash left by previous guests and dust all over, as if it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. The taps didn't work, the linens seemed not to have been washed in ages, and the bathroom still had used soap and rubbish from earlier guests. I've never seen a room this dirty or a manager this shady. Check the photos.

The location is good, with basic amenities nearby, and the price is reasonable for a budget hotel. It seems fine for an overnight stop, but I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay. The rooms are small and ventilation is a problem. They're all air conditioned, but smokers should avoid smoking indoors because the smoke lingers. Room service was just okay. Our bathroom fittings were faulty and the drain was clogged. Breakfast is vegetarian, with extra items available for an added charge.

I checked out within two hours because I couldn't sleep. The sheet was torn, the pillows and room were unclean, and the bathroom was awful, with spiders and cockroaches. The toilet seat was broken, the flush didn't work, and neither did the taps. The receptionist was rude, acting as if they were doing us a huge favor. This was the worst experience of my life. I won't use this hotel's service again, and may stop booking through OYO because they list places like this. We'd booked through OYO, but they said they wouldn't give us a room even if we paid through the OYO link, since they don't get their money back from OYO. I know an Aadhaar card is mandatory, but they also wanted every guest's thumbprint and signature. One star is the lowest rating available. This should have been negative.
