Gomang-Boutique Hotel Ladakh

We slept really well in the comfortable rooms, thanks in part to how quiet and peaceful the location is. Gomang Boutique Hotel also has a great lounge and a library with plenty to read, plus a modest all-day diner serving fantastic vegetarian food. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the Reception Desk was quick to sort out all the small things that matter.

The views of the mountains and Shanti Stupa from my comfortable, well-furnished room were breathtaking. The hotel sits away from the noise in central Leh, though it's an easy, pleasant walk into town. Makund and Ladeep and the rest of the staff made me feel like royalty. I also loved the food, especially breakfast in the courtyard in the sunshine. I’d absolutely come back.

We had a really good stay from 26 to 28 June 2024. The property is a little off the road, down a lane, but it's lovely inside, with a nicely decorated lobby and lots of books. The gompa is visible from the hotel, and the food was delicious. We booked dinner, and the owner was generous about letting us order anything from the menu, whatever the price. Thinley was down to earth and lovely to talk to. He arranged our Leh Ladakh tour and upgraded our room. The staff were prompt and polite, and the manager and Laideep were ready to help with our requests.

Mr Singh was a wonderful host, and the staff were so attentive. We had excellent food at the in-house restaurant, and enjoyed sitting outside with coffee and mountain views. The rooms were thoughtfully equipped, even with coffee machines, and they brought extra heaters when we asked. The hotel can also arrange jeeps and drivers for a good experience traveling around the state. A perfect stay.
