Hotel Rudra Mahal

There were no soap or towels in the room. When we raised the missing basics with staff, they did nothing and responded indifferently. The receptionist was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. This stay was completely unacceptable, and choosing this hotel was my biggest mistake. I intend to file a formal complaint with the relevant authorities, including the Food Safety and Hygiene Department / Ministry, about the hygiene, missing amenities, and staff conduct. The property needs immediate inspection and action. I strongly advise people to avoid it until serious improvements are made. It doesn’t deserve a rating.

The location looked good and the reception seemed okay, but I checked the rooms and didn’t go ahead. They were very basic, if not below basic, with bad smells and other issues. Even the lift buttons were broken. There wasn’t much else to like.

A cockroach crawled out of a gap between the bed and wall. The washrooms felt like public toilets, with broken toilet seats, chewing gum, and cigarette smell everywhere. The dining area wasn’t big, and the clean rooms and washrooms people probably expected just weren’t there. I wouldn’t recommend it, even for one night. Sleeping in your car would be better. If Ryan Trahan sees this, it happened to me, but maybe it wouldn’t happen to you, I don’t know. Just don’t tell them you’re a YouTuber, and check the rooms.

The bathroom had tiny red worm-like insects in the water, so small they were hard to spot, which felt dangerous. Room service was awful, and the receptionist ignored us. Even the AC room at 1800 Rs wasn’t worth the money. Check the hotel’s reviews before booking, and don’t rely on auto riders’ advice. Please research first. This is the worst hotel, so don’t waste your money.
