SPOT ON 48857 Hotel Neelkamal 2

Room 111 was tiny, and the washroom, pillows, bedsheet and blankets were all unclean or in very bad shape. They charge 1200 a night for service worse than a 300/- 1*lodge, even poorer than that. Pathetic. Don’t choose this hotel.

We chose it through Oyo because it was close to our stop. When we reached Ahmedabad late at night, the hotel wouldn’t even let us in and told us to contact Oyo. Oyo said the hotel had marked us as checked in, but our booked room had been given to someone else. Being left outside with luggage at midnight, when we couldn’t even find a cab, was horrible. I know Gujarati culture isn’t as welcoming as the north, but this was awful. I can’t give a minus rating, though I would have given minus five.

I strongly recommend against staying here. It’s very unclean. If you’re thinking of booking, please check somewhere else.

This place isn’t budget friendly at all, and the price is far too high for what you get. I spent a good amount just for a bed and walls, since everything else was chargeable. Oyo should check the hygiene. A no from me.
