It felt just like being in your own home. The house was very clean, with a green garden and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s close to the metro station and Sabarmati river, and staying there with family felt completely harmonious.

The location is the biggest advantage of this homestay. The rooms were clean, and the place felt like a home away from home. I loved the cozy atmosphere and great vibes. My stay was truly unforgettable.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. The owner gave us lots of tips and suggestions, and let us hang out after check-out because our bus left very late at night. Our room was beside the shared balcony, so there was sometimes noise, though we go to sleep early. We didn’t hear anything after 21:00.
The villa and its tropical garden felt like a quiet little refuge, and getting around was easy: the metro interchange with two lines is about a five-minute walk away. We felt at home there. The shared kitchen was spotless and fully equipped, and there was breakfast in the morning, tea and coffee all day, daily room cleaning, quick laundry, and helpful advice whenever we asked. The owner and staff were very friendly and capable. We had the large family suite with a balcony on the ground floor, facing the street. Traffic and trains made it fairly noisy from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm. The private bathroom also wasn’t attached to the room, so we had to cross a hallway past the shared kitchen. Twice, a plastic-burning smell came in from outside and seemed quite toxic to me. I found one window behind the curtains was slightly open, so keeping it shut should prevent smoke from a neighbor burning rubbish getting in. The place was spacious, peaceful, and very clean. We debated giving it four or five stars, but those drawbacks weren’t the owner’s or staff’s fault, so we gave five. We’d stay here again if we return to Ahmedabad, and would recommend it to family and friends.
The gardens and quiet atmosphere made Heritage Villa Homestay a welcome break from everyday bustle. I also got to join guided heritage walks and cultural performances, which added something special to the visit. The local food was another highlight, with meals that felt like a celebration of the region’s culture and flavors. The rooms were very well kept, and their vintage decor suited the property’s traditional character. Modern amenities were there too, so the stay was comfortable. The staff were warm and made an effort to make me feel at home. From arrival, I liked the architecture and peaceful surroundings. It was a memorable stay, and I can’t wait to come back. I’d recommend it for anyone wanting to relax or get closer to local culture.
