Heritage Bungalow-97 Ajmer

Mr. Sudhir was always smiling and incredibly helpful, and the bungalow was quiet and comfortable, just right for relaxing. At Homestay Bungalow 97 in Ajmer, everything was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was generous and delicious. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ajmer.

The hosts made us feel like family, and the homemade food was delicious. From their warm welcome to the really clean rooms, every detail was just right. Our Ajmer homestay was a delight, truly unforgettable, and I’d highly recommend it!

The common areas often had the host’s personal guests and other tenants in them, including loud, hyper kids, so we didn’t get the quiet stay we expected. The host was communicative but overly possessive of the property, which took away from the idea of booking an “entire place.” We were called out for our dogs barking at night, even though street dogs nearby were making noise without any concern from the host. The stay was far from the relaxing getaway we wanted. The listing’s photos showed the front of the property, but our space was accessed through the parking alley. It was described as an “entire place,” though it felt shared with the hosts and didn’t give us the privacy we expected. That was buried somewhere in the description. Although it was advertised as pet-friendly, our dogs faced unreasonable restrictions and had to stay indoors most of the time. The host reprimanded them for playful digging in the garden. We picked up all their poop promptly and had a caretaker with us specially for the dogs. The host’s own dog interacted happily with ours and pooped in the same area, which my caretaker cleaned without complaint, yet our dogs were still an issue for the host. It felt more like pets were allowed than welcome. I’d say it’s better for an overnight stay with dogs than a longer one. The host did have good food recommendations and went above and beyond to serve us breakfast, but the experience was still far from satisfactory. Be cautious if you expect the privacy and peace promised by an “entire place.”
