The staff were very good and tried their best to help, but the hotel environment let us down. We were there with family during the season and had spent good money, so it was disappointing. Our room was big, neat, and clean, and the washroom was clean too, but it smelled strongly of smoke and had no opening window for ventilation, which made it suffocating. The pillow cover had turned yellow, possibly from overuse. On one day, the owner’s son had a birthday, and they removed the sofa from our room. There was no room food menu, and the restaurant had no printed menu either. Its QR menu didn't work, so after a 10-12 hour drive we had a tough time getting dinner and finally went out. Breakfast was only average in both selection and taste, with too little seating. The boiler stopper failed one day, so we had to ask for hot water in buckets. Don't come with high expectations. It's just a basic hotel, and I'd avoid it if you're looking for good standards and service.

Good value for money for a one-night stay, with excellent service. Manager Mr. Ashish was especially supportive. The breakfast choices were all tasty, and they made ginger tea without sugar on request. It had a homely taste.

They even arranged a border view for us. The front desk was very cooperative and took care of all the basic needs. I'd give this hotel 5 STAR.

No cupboards or Wi-Fi, and the management was poor. The plumbing fixtures were old, there was no lift, and the tubs had no pipes. Bottled mineral water wasn't available, and basic furniture like a table and chair was missing. It felt more like a 700 rupees lodge room in terms of hospitality.

The rooms have a very old-fashioned layout, and housekeeping needs a lot of improvement. Don't expect quick service. There was no dental kit, shaving kit, or tea-making setup in the room. Go in without expectations, if at all.
