Hotel Merwara Estate

The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and the staff were polite and helpful. We had a lovely three-day stay at Hotel Merwara Estate, with a peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful lake view. The heritage feel made it memorable. A relaxing, luxurious place for a royal stay in Ajmer, highly recommended.

The property and lake views were beautiful, with a pleasant breeze from the common area. We booked a suite for one night under Vikas Kurariya, and the room was very spacious. The reception person gave us a room with a great view, which we really enjoyed. The pure veg breakfast had plenty of options, and the service was excellent. Even when staff weren't by the common reception area, they arrived within a few minutes. The kettle didn't work, though we managed because we'd brought an electric pot for the baby. I also had a bad experience when an executive directed me to a washroom near the left corner of reception and said it was for women. There was no sign, and it was very dirty, with pan stains on the sink. It didn't seem like a women's washroom. I forgot to get the executive's name to complain. One or two people's careless behavior can give the property a bad impression. Aside from that unprofessional staff member, everything was good, and our stay at Merwara Estate was a great experience. Next time we visit, it will be our first choice. Thanks to the team.

The rooms are huge, the AC works well, and the views are great. This is a very old hotel in Ajmer, built about 200 years ago and renovated and upgraded over time. Breakfast is served à la carte, not as a buffet. If you didn't choose breakfast when booking, be aware that the food is very expensive. I'd suggest Pandit Restaurant right at the hotel gate. Also, think twice before ordering tea: one cup costs 100 INR, and to me the quality doesn't justify that price, though the price itself isn't the issue.

The hotel has a very good location, and its interior and exterior look great, but the service problems were a letdown. At the wedding held there on 13-10-2025, the water geysers weren't working, ACs in many rooms were out, and there were sanitation issues like water leaks. With rates in the lakhs, these service problems shouldn't be happening. Please fix them.
