Hotel Pushkar Talhati

For this price, the hotel is quite good. I had no real problems, and it’s a much better deal than the hotels near the railway station. Everyone should book it.

The staff were really kind and helpful, and the hotel is the best I’ve found at a reasonable price.

The rooms are clean and reasonably priced. The owner seemed like an honest man, and the staff were nice. A pretty good place to stay.

Cleanliness was the one thing they got right, and I’d give the hygiene five stars. The staff were decent too, and at least we still had our car when we left. There’s no parking area, so you have to leave your car on the road and keep looking out the window to check it’s still there. The rooms are tiny, with so little space that you keep bumping into the bed and furniture. They offered either bottled or RO water, but the RO water tasted weird, so we paid for the bottled kind. The prepaid breakfast was a joke: just a small serving of Maggie, seemingly made from the 5₹ packet. I’m usually not fussy about hotels. We spend so little time inside that a decent place and a clean bed are enough, and our OYO stays have mostly been pleasant. This one wasn’t.
