OYO 45999 Tulsi Palace

The room itself was unhygienic, with an alcohol bottle in the cupboard and cigarette ash in the washroom. We were three women, and between the strange location and the staff's unsettling manner, we felt unsafe. Even the menu card wasn't kept up properly. Our stay was horrible, and I wouldn't pick this place when traveling with a group of women.

We were in an emergency and short on time on 18th May 2022, so we left without making a complaint. There was a lot wrong with the room: unwashed linen, a broken flush and bathroom lock, an AC that didn't work or cool, a TV with no cable, and broken switchboards. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely poor. Dharmshala's are better than this, and it doesn't live up to the OYO name. My words don't capture how bad it was. Please never choose this hotel.

I had to stay one night for my exam, and it turned into a nightmare. The washroom was dirty and smelled so bad I couldn't go in. There were no fresh pillow covers or blanket, and the TV, WIFI, and AC weren't working. Staff ignored my repeated complaints.

They wouldn't give us the wifi password even though they had wifi. We booked online, then they demanded another 300rs to bring the price up to the market rate. We first refused, but after being stuck at reception for 1:30hrs with no other choice, we paid. People from other states get treated badly here. If you don't know Hindi well, they may not even respect you, and the staff are very rude. Think a thousand times before booking.
