Diamond Residency by OYO Rooms

I booked three rooms here today, and another friend’s family is staying too, but Mr. Manoj’s conduct left us with a very bad impression. My friend’s family had booked ahead and paid for one room about 5 hours earlier, yet after their long journey he kept them waiting outside the hotel for a long time at 3 AM. He seemed unhappy to be disturbed at that hour, but that doesn’t excuse the way he treated them. He was rude and argumentative with my friend’s family and their children, and made them feel unwelcome. He isn’t fit for customer service. There is also an elderly staff member who was kind and provided good service. I appreciate his professionalism. I ask management to address this problem. If they don’t, it could seriously affect the hotel’s reputation and business.

The staff were good, but the service was poor. WiFi didn’t work for all 3 days. The AC in my room wasn’t maintained well, kept making noise, and cooled poorly. The power plug was especially low quality, and I struggled to charge my devices with it. Staff told me to use an extension box.

Diamond Residency is a good, quiet place for a peaceful holiday. The beach is a 15 mins walk away, or you can take an autorickshaw. There are a few good restaurants and small cafes nearby, and you can find everything close by. Staff are helpful too. Overall, a good place.

We came as a group of 44 trainees, and the owner and staff handled all the arrangements really well. The rooms were clean and roomy, and everyone was friendly and helpful. They even organized a houseboat ride for us. We were happy with our stay.
