Oxygen Resorts Alleppey

The service was very good and the outside of the hotel looked nice, but the room felt like it was from the 90s and the bedroom quality was very bad. The food was the worst.

There’s plenty to do at the resort, including the pool, chess, carrom, and boat rides. The food was tasty with lots of choices, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and cooperative. Our room was clean and spacious. It’s also handy for reaching the houseboat starting point, the beach, and the backwaters.

Anita at reception deserves a special thanks. She was so sweet and listened to all our requests, and the other staff were very polite too. We had a good time, with spacious, clean rooms in a good location. The place is decent enough as it is, though better maintenance from management could make it a place anyone would want to stay.

At 9:15 pm, with the kitchen due to close at 10 pm, I called to order a main course through room service. They said they were too busy and I’d have to come to the restaurant to collect it. Earlier, getting French fries was supposed to take 40-50 minutes. At breakfast they told me there was no butter. I paid 5000 per night for this service, which was intolerable. There was no WiFi in the rooms. I called Reception four times and was told each time they were checking, but it was never fixed during my stay. When I asked housekeeping to replace the used glasses, the worker started washing them in our toilet. The whole experience was a total scam. Don’t book this property, even by mistake.
