We asked for an extra bed and they got one to us right away. The rooms were neat, the basics and hot water worked fine, and the staff and owner were really friendly. It was affordable, too, and the punnamada view gave the place a nice vibe. Food options at night were limited and a bit overpriced, so we went out to eat. The pool could be cleaner. Still, it was a pretty chill two-day stay for the price 😄
The Kerala food was quite good, fresh, and full of flavor, and the staff were always friendly and happy to help. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with the basic amenities provided. From the hotel you get lovely lake views, especially in the peaceful mornings and evenings. Hotel Chaandini Lake View made for a calm, scenic getaway, and I’d happily stay again.
We had a satisfying meal here, with a decent choice of dishes, reasonable portions, and polite, attentive service. The flavours were good, even if the menu wasn’t especially adventurous. The open seating and lake view made it easy to take our time and chat. Chaandhni Lake View is a peaceful place for a relaxed meal, especially in the evening when the lake-facing setting feels magical.
More than 200 boats passed right in front of our balcony, and the location was fantastic. I spent three nights at Chaandni Lake View and had a great stay. Gregory Joseph and Alex sir supported me throughout. Ms.Rathi and Mr.Anoop at the front office were the best I've met, and were excellent at sorting out our needs. Thanks as well to the support team, room service staff, and kitchen staff. They were polite and responded to requests right away. I'll be back.
There’s a jetty just outside the hotel gate, right beside the iconic red bridge. If you walk left from the small gate, you may spot craftsmen working on Shikara or Boathouses. The property is beautiful and sits on the backwaters.
