Arte Cottage at Kihim Beach, Alibaug

The place is well maintained, and the rooms are clean and spacious enough for 3-4 people to stay comfortably. A great choice for a holiday visit. You can also choose whether you want food included with your stay.

A good budget stay, around 2100-2200, with food charged extra. The home-cooked food was really good, and Santosh and Ganpat were cooperative and there to help. Rooms suit middle-class visitors looking for home food, and it's just two minutes from the beach, with a nice area around the plot for kids. For directions, turn right at bhairavnath tenple to reach arte cottage. There's space for 2-3 cars. Overall, I was satisfied.

The surroundings are quiet and relaxing, with enough water and a heater for hot water. We stayed in the Sun room upstairs, which was comfortable and had a nice balcony view. This peaceful homestay is in nature and only a three-minute walk from the beach. Mr and Mrs Arte were courteous and guided us well. The food is homemade and simply awesome, but isn't part of the room rent; you can choose a veg or non-veg meal. There's a four-room cottage for families or big groups, as well as two separate rooms named Sun upstairs and Sand on the ground floor.

Priya Arte madam, the cottage owner, was caring, helpful, and really nice. The rooms were neat and clean, and service was good. The place feels peaceful, surrounded by trees and away from noise and pollution. Best of all, the beach is just a two-minute walk away. A lovely, budget-friendly homestay for families. 😊😊
