Lotus The Lake view Resort

The pond view was lovely for photos, and there was a calm spot to sit. Nitin ji was helpful and accommodating while I booked. We were three couples and one child, and found the resort safe and comfortable. It was also nice seeing couples, families, and groups all there. Kamlesh bhau, pradeep, and the rest of the staff were welcoming. Whenever we called for help, they came over happily.

The restaurant was clean and looked well cared for, with friendly, attentive staff and quick service. We enjoyed the food, which had very good quality and authentic taste. Prices seemed reasonable for what we got. I'd recommend it to families and people who enjoy vegetarian food.

The resort looked good, but I paid 4800 for a New Year weekend 2026 stay with my husband and child, and it didn't feel worth that price. Had it cost 2000/2500, I wouldn't have had so many complaints. Breakfast was slow and limited: the complimentary choices were poha, omelet, and bread toast, while anything else cost extra. It took 25 minutes to get one omelette, 2 toast, and 1 cup poha, though the taste was good. The tables were really unclean, and even after I asked, nobody came to clean them before we checked out. There's no breakfast counter either. We checked in around 2PM noon. The room was decent but not great, and the bathroom was just okay. The tap leaked and wouldn't close properly. After sightseeing, we returned at night to find the floor lights off, so we had to switch them on ourselves. Cleanliness needs more attention.

We found this place at the last minute, but for the price the room fell short. The bedspread was dirty, there was a weird smell, and mosquitoes were everywhere, so we couldn't leave the windows open.
