Saffronstays Osaree, Alibaug

The staff were warm and went out of their way to make things easy for our family, and every meal was fresh and delicious. We had a lovely stay together at Nilgiri Villa, SaffronStays. There was plenty of room for our whole group, and it felt comfortable, almost like being at home. The setting is quiet and lovely, and the villa was very clean and well looked after. It does seem like an older place, though, and a fresh coat of paint in the bedrooms would help. For the space, comfort, and hospitality, it felt like good value. We’d recommend it for a family break or group trip.

Kihim Beach is only a short drive away, though going early in the morning is better. It gets crowded in the evening, and the trip can take much longer then. We had a peaceful, comfortable weekend at SaffronStays Osaree, and the place was well maintained. The staff made us feel at home, and the food was delicious and clearly prepared with care. A lovely family getaway, and one we’d recommend.

We only planned to stay one night with friends, but ended up extending because the food was so good, the property was cared for, and the service was exceptional. Shreya made delicious meals and worked around our timing. Her chicken and fish dishes are worth trying. Hira looked after our needs on site and made sure we had what we needed. When one friend had to leave early because of an emergency, Hira personally took him to the nearby station so he could catch the ferry on time. Swapnil had also handled our booking requests helpfully from the start, making everything smooth. Thanks to Hira, Shreya, and Swapnil for a memorable stay. I’d happily return and recommend the property.

We’ve been to Osaree Villa twice now. It’s pet friendly, with spacious clean rooms, a large pool, and a lovely garden for everyone to enjoy. The cook and caretaker were very good, the food was amazing, and we had a great time.
