I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and the price made the poor experience harder to accept. For three days with my family of six, accommodation alone cost over ₹30,000. The property felt dated and badly maintained. The wooden villa furniture was worn and neglected, hygiene fell short of what I’d expect at premium rates, and we noticed insects and pests. Pest control seems urgently needed. There were only around 2-3 staff managing the entire place. They were polite and did try to help, but were clearly overwhelmed. Breakfast was included, yet choices were usually only one or two items and the same menu came back almost every day. The in-house restaurant wasn’t operating during our stay, leaving just a couple of food options and most meals to be arranged from outside. The resort helped coordinate deliveries, but charged rates similar to its own restaurant, which felt unreasonably high. Wi-Fi only worked near reception, not in the villas, which was very inconvenient for this price. Toiletries were practically absent: we got only a Medimix soap and a Clinic Plus sachet. Electricity also went out every night, usually for 10-15 minutes around midnight. The approach road is extremely narrow and awkward for larger vehicles. The manager was attentive during the first two days and helped with small requests. Once more guests arrived on day three, we felt forgotten. Requests were ignored, and we were left to arrange meals and manage by ourselves. The staff were courteous, but the resort is seriously understaffed and lacks the upkeep, facilities, and attention expected at this price. It needs better maintenance, pest control, Wi-Fi in the villas, housekeeping, and enough staff to deliver the advertised experience. Better options are available for a similar price.

A peaceful place to unwind, and I’d love to come back. The resort is beautiful and well cared for, with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff who were happy to help. Every meal was outstanding. It’s a little far to walk to the beach, though getting there is no problem if you have a vehicle.

We stayed Saturday to Sunday, six of us, and booked three rooms at ₹3500 each with breakfast. The rooms were cozy, comfortable, and well equipped, and I’d rate that part 5/5. The pool and feel of the property were excellent too. It’s tucked deep in the jungle, so it’s peaceful but isolated, with no nearby restaurants or food options outside the resort. Breakfast was good: Poha, Misal Pav, Bread Butter, and Sheera. Everything except Poha was excellent. Lunch and dinner were disappointing because most menu items weren’t available, so check before ordering. The owner/receptionist came across as “over-smart” and sometimes seemed to treat guests as if they didn’t know much. Also double-check your bill at checkout, since we were warned about the possibility of being charged for another room. The property and rooms are worth visiting, but be ready for limited food choices and watch the billing.

Choosing this hotel based on online reviews was honestly a terrible decision. The place felt unsettling as soon as we arrived, and the poor upkeep meant the stay didn’t meet expectations. Basic cleanliness and facilities seemed neglected, making it uncomfortable. The room smelled bad when we entered, the pool was dirty and poorly maintained, and the restaurant’s very dim lighting made dining unpleasant. Even the reception clocks weren’t working, and the lift was out of order.

We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay at SIA Resort during our office trip on November 29 and 30. It’s well maintained and suited to a team outing, and the whole group enjoyed the tasty meals and good variety. Mr. Bipin Agarwal’s warm, professional help and attention to details made us feel welcome and kept everything running smoothly. Thanks to him and the entire SIA Resort team. We’d recommend it for corporate trips or group stays and look forward to returning. Ketan Dalvi, HR, Dhiraj Heavy Equipments Pvt. Ltd., Pune.
