Kasar Himalaya Holiday Resorts

Nandan made us feel right at home and took such good care of us, making sure we had what we needed. The rooms were well maintained, and the setting was wonderfully peaceful, with beautiful mountain views. We had great food and received lovely hospitality from Nandan and the staff. I had a wonderful stay at Kasar Himalaya Holiday Resort yesterday. Highly recommended!

The main issue was the difference between the wooden studio shown on the website and the room we actually got. Rooms 108 and 109 are outside the main property. They seemed like they may originally have been servants’ rooms converted for guests, and I’ve posted photos so people can judge the quality. Being separated from the main property made me feel a bit concerned about security at night. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, and the signal was so poor that we had to go to reception to get online. The bathroom was badly designed, with a tap and bucket right in front of the toilet and no partition, and the water pressure was low. The breakfast and dinner included in the package were very poor in taste and quality. The separate items we ordered were good. The menu also felt a bit expensive for the hotel’s quality, so I’d avoid including dinner in the package. Management should stop misleading people just to make money. People come on holiday to relax and enjoy themselves, and the greed cost us a bad experience. For anyone booking, I’d avoid rooms 108 and 109. They didn’t feel like staying in the hotel.

The owner personally spent time with us and suggested nearby places to explore, which really stood out. The staff were polite, soft-spoken, and so well behaved. The resort looked stunning, with open spaces that felt calm and relaxing, and the whole property was spotless and beautifully maintained. We also really liked the taste and presentation of the food. It was a short visit, but memorable enough that I’ve already decided to return soon. Highly recommended!

We stayed with our family and kids in 2023, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, and even changed our rooms to fit our group better. The food was exceptionally tasty. The property is beautiful, with stunning views of the Himalayan ranges, and we were lucky enough to see them one morning. One of the best stays we’ve had.
