Water is a big concern here. Supplies come by tanker, so please don't waste it. Power cuts are another problem, and the lodge only has inverter backup, with no working plugs during outages and no inverter connection for the washroom LED. Bring a power bank for your phone. There are stairs up and down four floors and no lift or ground-floor rooms. They have chess, ludo, and badminton for kids, and the kitchen does a nice job with the limited resources available. Milk is powdered, so for infants or kids who need milk you can get some in Rathkhal, 2 km away, or Dotiyal, 3 km away. No TV or AC in the rooms, which isn't really needed here anyway.
