Suman Nature Resort

I visited in the last week of January 2026. The property is large and in a great location, with plenty of parking. Rooms were okay, service was good, and all the meals were freshly made. Wifi is available. The place could be managed better, though. The kitchen didn’t have the usual non-veg items, so we had to ask separately for ingredients to be bought and prepared. The staff did their best to meet our requests.

The Greater Himalayan Range views made the stay especially memorable. The food and service were both amazing, and I had a truly wonderful experience.

The view is the only good thing about this resort. The management calls it a 4 star resort, but it felt more like lodging and boarding. We checked out the very next day despite having booked two nights. The linen was dirty when we arrived, and flies were all over the room, bathroom and dining area. At 11 at night, guests were playing loud music. Even after we asked them directly to stop, they came over in a group to yell at us. Management wasn’t interested in helping. They said those guests had paid too, as if that meant they could yell in the middle of the night without considering the inconvenience to other customers. The service, cleanliness, hygiene and staff ethics were nowhere near what you’d expect from a 4 star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The balcony has a great view, and the rooms are good. Service was another matter, people kept forgetting our dinner orders. If there’s a wedding party staying at the same time, apparently you can get some good leftovers at a reasonable rate. Still, it’s a better Sumanproperty.
