The palace itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture, grand rooms, and excellent upkeep. It’s now a heritage hotel, and the rooms are spacious and intricately designed. We had wonderful hospitality and food, and the rooftop coffee spot was a lovely extra. Getting to Alsisar Mahal can feel questionable rather than enriching, but once you arrive, it’s absolutely gorgeous. A great stay with family and children, highly recommended.

There are peacocks all around, and the temple on the grounds feels very peaceful. The gun and sword museum is also well worth seeing, and Badal Mahal looks fantastic. It’s a lovely heritage property with good food and works well for a family vacation. There’s no TV in the rooms, which I liked, and no lifts, so expect plenty of stairs. If you’d rather avoid too much climbing, ask for a ground-floor room.

The views from this lovely palace were amazing, and the service was excellent. Rahul Singh Rathor and Surander Singh were especially helpful and courteous, and made our stay memorable. I’d highly recommend the place.

We had an unforgettable stay at Alisar Mahal in Jaipur. The building is beautiful, and the rooms are large and well furnished. The staff were friendly, and the service, breakfast, and endless coffee were all great. It’s definitely not a budget hotel, but I’d recommend spending a few nights here for the unique experience. Special thanks to Ramsingh, a real gentleman.
