Flora Charishma Residency Aluva

The restaurant was the best part of my stay. The food was tasty, and the restaurant staff were friendly. The location is handy, close to Aluva metro station and Railway station, and the restaurant and front office staff were courteous and helpful at first. That changed after checkout, when they stopped responding to my complaints. I booked a suite for 2 nights, but the air conditioner barely cooled it. A mechanic checked it and couldn't fix the problem. There was cold air by the vent, while the other side of the room stayed warm. We left the AC running all afternoon while we were out, and the room still didn't cool down. The front desk tried to move us, but the guests in the other room hadn't checked out in time, and I couldn't wait. I paid for an AC suite and had to stay in a warm room. The property also needs maintenance. There was mould on the roof, a stain in the comode, and worn out mirrors. I thought about checking out as soon as I saw the room, but no other hotels in the area had availability. This did not meet what I expected from a Flora hotel, and most of the stay was uncomfortable apart from the restaurant.

The food stood out most, with every dish fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. From the moment we arrived, Fathima,Ajith and the rest of the staff were warm and attentive. The kitchen and service were both excellent. Would definitely recommend!

I spent 2.5 months here, and it felt like home. The rooms were high quality, and the staff's behavior and service were perfect.

We booked the Charishma Suite in a hurry after learning at the last minute that my wife's exam center was nearby. It turned out to be a great choice. The peaceful atmosphere helped with the stress before the exam, and the suite was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out. It had a separate sitting area, tea and coffee setup, a large comfortable bed, soft lighting, and a proper work desk. The bathroom was modern and well maintained, with quality fittings. On check-in day, we ordered lunch through room service: Nadan fish curry, Kerala parotta, and Kerala chicken biryani. Everything was well prepared and flavorful. We also had buffet breakfast at the Rainfall Restaurant on the morning of the exam. The food was impressive, the spread was neatly arranged, and the elegant ambience made for a relaxed, satisfying start to an important day. The staff were polite, professional, and supportive during our stay. The location was convenient for the metro station, railway station, and main road, while remaining peaceful inside. The airport was about 25 minutes away, which made getting around easy. One of the best stays we've had around Kochi. Highly recommended.
