Desi Thath

Satyapal was polite and gave us very good service, and the other staff were polite too. The food was very good. But the stay itself wasn’t comfortable: the flush and shower didn’t work properly, the switch boards weren’t fitted properly, and the rooms weren’t clean and tidy.

Rakesh at reception gave us a warm, friendly welcome and was professional and helpful throughout. We had a comfortable stay at desi Thath, with clean rooms and good food. Its location near the lake made it a great spot for a staycation.

The meal was delicious, and the service from Gagan and Sunil at dining made the visit memorable. Our server was courteous, quick to respond, and kept checking that we were enjoying the meal. From the warm greeting when we arrived to the attentive care at the table, the staff made us feel at home. It’s a rare mix of good food and professional, heartfelt hospitality. Kudos to the whole team at Desi Thath Restaurant in Alwar. I’d recommend it for the people as much as for the food.

We had a premium room with a lovely sunrise view over the peaceful lake, and everything about our one-night stay was amazing. The high tea, dinner, and breakfast were all excellent, with plenty of choices. Ms. Urvi at reception, Captain Kamal, and restaurant manager Mr. Sunil were especially polite. I’d highly recommend staying here. I only wish Tava roti had been included in the menu.
