The atmosphere is cool, and the hospitality is great. The staff are good, and the service is totally the best.

This old havelli has about 10 converted rooms and a heritage feel, but the space is small. The village food concept is good, and it could be a decent short stopover. The rooms are tiny, with just a bed and AC, and there’s no TV. The lights could be brighter. Hygiene and smell problems need attention, and the upholstery, linens, and towels urgently need upgrading. The staff are untrained, and the manager needs to be more involved. It’s inside a village, where they could add cultural events and activities.

I stayed for two nights and liked the place. The food was excellent, and the courtyard and local musicians gave it a lot of charm. The enthusiastic staff were very cordial in their service.

I think it’s the best hotel in Alwar, but Burja Haveli is 10 km from the bus stand and railway station, and there’s no direct transport from either.
