The Jungle Resort

It’s a very green, eco-friendly resort, with ground-level cottages as well as wooden cottages raised on stilts. The rooms are comfortable and have the necessary amenities. They aren’t luxury rooms, but that wasn’t needed. Air conditioning is available, though we didn’t need it in the lovely weather. The service was friendly, thanks to Bobby, and the food was fresh, tasty, hot, and just like a home-cooked meal. There’s a lovely green atmosphere, plus a pool, game room, outdoor sports, hammocks, and a kids’ play area for groups. Guided jungle safaris and trips to the historic Pawankhind and Vishalgad fort are available for an extra cost, and I’d say they’re worth doing. Our guide Tanaji gave us a detailed tour and lots of information about each place.

The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, always warm, polite, and ready to help. The rooms were clean and spacious, designed to fit the natural setting, and waking up to birdsong and fresh air was a joy. The food was fresh, delicious, and home-style, with care put into its taste and quality. Jungle Resort Amba felt peaceful and safe, with lush greenery all around. It was a refreshing break from city life, and a lovely way to reconnect with nature. A great choice for families, couples, or anyone after a relaxing jungle stay. I’d love to return.

The food was fantastic throughout, from breakfast to lunch, high tea, and dinner. One special meal was Van Bhojan, lunch in the jungle, which Mr. Rajan organised. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We also spent the night stargazing under an incredibly clear sky. There was plenty to do, including air rifle shooting, archery, spider crawl, and other activities. Our wooden cabin was beautifully made and so cozy, with a proper jungle feel. Mr. Rajan was around during our stay and made us feel at home. He shared a lot about the place, and when he found out it was my birthday, he surprised me with a cake. Such a thoughtful touch. We had a wonderful stay at The Jungle Resort Amba. The staff were prompt, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Between the clean air, peaceful forest setting, fun activities, great food, and excellent service, it made a lovely weekend getaway. I couldn’t have asked for more.

The kids enjoyed themselves, and the food and hospitality were good. We had a memorable family outing at Green Hill Resort, where the staff were polite and cooperative. It’s a peaceful place with clean rooms and a relaxing atmosphere, highly recommended for families looking for a calm getaway.
