The AC didn’t work, and they charged us extra for breakfast even though we’d already paid an extra amount to stay after switching to an offline payment. We’re a married couple, and they still wouldn’t let us check in despite our having proof. The owner and staff seemed intent on harassing people. We had a confirmed Booking.com reservation and had paid online, but the staff refused to honor it. They said we could stay only if we cancelled the online booking and paid offline, with another extra charge. I wouldn’t recommend booking this hotel.

The location worked well for business or leisure, and the courteous, efficient team made guests feel valued. Hotel Neelam (Hotel Neelam) has spacious, well-kept rooms with the essentials for a comfortable stay. Its restaurant serves generous portions of flavorful vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. As part of AICPE, I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Nagpur for its comfort, cleanliness, and service. — Sharad Taori

The owner or manager came across as arrogant, with no eye contact, and seemed to murmur when I ordered food from outside. The complimentary breakfast was very limited, just 1 parantha, with no consideration for a cyclist’s calorie needs. Not for cyclists. 0 points.

The bathroom, table, and bedsheet were unhygienic, and there was no AC or TV. WiFi was slow and the landline was dead. They gave me a personal number, but nobody answered, and the way staff spoke to me was rude. Hot water was another problem. When I asked, they said it would be available by 6 A.M., then it took an hour to get one bucket, and the water quality was poor. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, with pathetic service.

Not a good choice for couples. The hotel charged more than double the online prices shown on the booking website, then tried to dupe us with a false claim about items in the room.
