Up And Above

The ambience was nice and the service was pretty good, but the food was a letdown. The exotic veggies came across like rice mixed with vegetables, and the sizzling brownie was completely burnt. Even the peanuts didn’t taste good. When I asked about it, he started explaining that if the sizzling plate isn’t hot, customers will complain. But hot and burnt aren’t the same thing. I was really disappointed. 👎

The location is nice, but the food and service were both poor. The prawns Koliwada was much too salty. When we asked them to change it, they took a long time and brought back the same dish. The veg crispy was the same story. For better-tasting food, I’d suggest trying another hotel.

The location was the only good part of my stay. I’d booked a suite, but the room was dirty and untidy, and the manager was rude. Parking was in a mall basement, where I couldn’t be sure my vehicle was safe. Water kept leaking from the toilet, and repeated calls to staff didn’t get it fixed. It was a really bad stay. The rooftop has a great location, and the vibe and lighting are nice at night. The paneer garlic tikka was the only dish we liked. The vegetables were extremely spicy, the garlic bread had no garlic, and the tandoori roti and naan seemed reheated. When we complained, the waiter didn’t seem to care and just asked whether we wanted rice or roti. With service and food like that, I don’t think it’s worth going.
