Angel Lords Eco Inn Amreli

The breakfast was good, but dinner was a bit of a challenge: the veg subzi and dal fry tasted nice, though they were far too spicy for me. The standard room also felt small for two people with luggage. Cooks are human too, of course.

Breakfast had a great range and tasted excellent, and the restaurant’s elegant wooden interior was lovely. The rooms were good, and check-in, reception, and the rest of the stay were all in good shape. It’s in a central part of Amreli Town in Gujarat State. There are 37 rooms in total. I’d like to come back.

The room was neat and comfortable, and the staff were courteous and helpful. Meals were tasty, fresh, and arrived on time, with a decent choice on the menu. Dining was easy and well handled, though serving times could be better. I had an enjoyable stay, and the hotel felt like good value for the money.

The room smelled strongly of smoke and drainage, and even after I complained, the first three rooms I was shown had hair on the beds and floors and stained sheets. They eventually brought fresh linen, but only after I asked for a refund and they refused, so I called the police. I arrived around 11:30 PM, and this was a terrible, unsettling experience for my family. The hotel allows alcohol despite being in a dry state, and also rents rooms by the hour for alcohol parties. I wouldn’t consider it safe for families, and the service was awful.
