We had a great 3 night stay and enjoyed our time. Rooms vary by budget, but all are spacious and have the required amenities. The staff were nice and took good care of our needs. There are two restaurants serving quality food; we had breakfast and dinner and felt it was worth paying for. The taste and quality were amazing. The location is good, right next to the road in a clean area, with ample parking. Tourist places are within 15-20 min, and Uber was quick for pickup and drop-off. This is one of the best hotels in Amritsar among the Best Western properties.

I planned and booked my brother’s reception at Best Western Amritsar while I was in New Zealand, and the team made everything smooth and stress-free. The whole experience was wonderful, and the arrangements, hospitality and service exceeded our expectations. Our guests were very happy, and the reception was truly memorable. Manager KJ Singh, Pankaj, Vinod and the whole team were welcoming, professional and supportive from start to finish. They paid attention to every detail and made sure the event was perfectly organised. Highly recommended for weddings and special events. The room rate didn’t feel justified by what we got, and the hotel came across as below a four-star standard. The rooms were old and need renovation, while basic amenities weren’t properly taken care of. We booked an extended stay because of shifting issues, but staff were rude and asked us to move to a different location without our consent.

The restaurant staff came across as unprofessional and inattentive, and seemed poorly trained in hospitality. The food was extremely poor too. I left Best Western Merrion, Amritsar, very disappointed with both the service and food quality, which fell far short of what I expected from a hotel in this category. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for good food or service in Amritsar.
