The location is a little far, and the rooms only looked okay at first. The locks and handles were in poor shape, the shower was broken, and there was no bucket or mug in the washroom. They said the AC would run from 11pm to 5am, but ours stopped at 1 and stayed off until checkout at 9 am. A tip: don't smoke around The Golden temple, the fine is 500. There are snatchers and thugs around, so avoid going out alone after 10pm.

The room had a broken sink, a broken toilet seat, dirty beds, no hot shower water, and a TV that didn't work. Unknown people were sitting at reception. The owner had turned off the AC after we checked in at 12:30PM, saying there was an electrical issue. We understood and didn't complain for five hours, until 5:30. After repeated trips to reception, he turned it on and demanded more money. The owner and his girlfriend, who came out of one of the rooms, yelled that we couldn't keep the AC on without paying extra. We said we'd leave and asked for our money back, but he refused. We paid more after he promised not to do it again. We left for Gurudwara Sahab and returned at midnight. He turned the AC on from reception, then switched it off again at 1 AM for the rest of the night. After a long, exhausting day, we didn't want to face him again. The whole stay was a nightmare, with none of the advertised comfort. He should provide the service at the agreed price instead of abusing customers. He posts reviews for himself and then replies to himself thanking him for a comfortable stay. I dare him to respond to this review.

The hallway smelled of hookah and booze, and all night there were loud noises from partying people near the open shaft by the toilet. The washroom walls and floors were filthy. There weren't even bedsheets or pillows, and the bed lining had blood stains. The people at reception were amateurs who seemed like 10th class fail idiots and didn't know how to talk to customers. Disgusting experience. This was the worst hotel stay of my life. There should be a raid on this pathetic place.

People were shouting and running in the corridor all night, and we got no towels. The Wi-Fi was weak, the bathroom wasn't built properly, and the AC was horrible. There was no hot water for bathing, so they gave us a hand heater that literally gives you a shock. The old switches wouldn't fit a charger, and the TV kept turning itself off. The rooms smelled of cigarettes and were stinky, with spit marks and a dirty toilet. Service was bad, and the owner and staff gave illogical excuses for everything. On top of it all, the owner asked for extra money, saying the Ibibo rate didn't apply.
