Hotel Grand Fortune

We paid 1300 per room upfront for three rooms and two days. I was travelling with my two-year-old, and my parents are senior citizens, so the broken lift mattered. Mohit told us it was fully functional and just needed to be switched on. We waited 30 minutes, then took the stairs. Around 2.30pm we went to our rooms to shower and rest before seeing Amritsar. The taps had ice-cold water. We checked all three rooms, and none had hot water. When we asked Mr. MOHIT, he casually said, "no one asks for it". After a lot of back and forth, he gave us an immersion rod, but it started smoking, so we sent it back straight away. There weren’t any water bottles either, none at all. We decided to change hotels and asked for a refund because these are basic things you expect. After another hour of arguing, during which my family had to fight for something as basic as hot water, he "switched on" the geyser and moved us to ground-floor rooms because the lift was actually non-functional. My room still had no hot water, and the cupboards wouldn’t open, so we changed rooms again. The next day we asked for drinking water. He took someone’s bottle, filled it with whatever water was there, and gave it to us. The cap wasn’t sealed, so we knew. I don’t recommend this hotel. If you want an adventure and a scapegoat to argue with, Mohit is your guy.

Not recommended, especially for families. The room was dirty and smelled bad, there was no hot water, and the staff were rude and unhelpful. The service was poor, and I left very disappointed.

We had to vacate all the rooms by the next day because the place was so unhygienic. We’d booked almost 10 rooms for our students, but the rooms were extremely dirty and rats were roaming inside them. We couldn’t stay even one night. The hotel’s reality is completely different from the interior photos and online presentation. For the rates they charge, it just isn’t up to standard. Strongly not recommended.

We booked almost 3 rooms for my girlfriend’s family, and the experience was awful. Neither the Gyser nor the AC worked. My girlfriend got very angry with me because of this hotel.
