Collection O 38743 Hotel Heaven View

The hotel is about a minute down the road from the Sri Harmandar Sahib. We stayed for a week in November, and the staff took wonderful care of us, especially my family member with walking difficulties and special needs. They even made him laugh. The food they prepared was extremely nice, and they ordered taxis for us throughout the stay. I can’t thank them enough for how well they treated and cared for us. I’d very much recommend staying here.

The location is great, with most sights and well-known places to eat within about 700m on foot. We booked a luxury queen suite and found the service very good. The staff also gave us guidance and were easy to reach at night. The rooms felt really small, though: once you open a suitcase, you have to jump past it to get to the other side. Some towels had greyish patches and could have been cleaner. They also charged ₹60 for water, which felt like a basic courtesy for guests.

I left some belongings behind, and the staff kindly couriered them to my home in Mohali. I really appreciated their help. The room was clean and comfortable, and Darbar Sahib is an easy walk away. Great stay, highly recommended.

The location is convenient: the main gate and market are within walking distance. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the rest was a bad experience. Breakfast was horrible, so I wouldn’t book it; it felt like a waste of money. The tea was fine, but the other food was awful. When we asked for a grilled sandwich, the person managing breakfast talked us out of it with several excuses and brought an extremely salty, horrible aloo paratha instead. Everyone on staff was fine except him. They also refused to provide shampoo when I asked. This doesn’t seem like the three-star hotel they claim to be on MakeMyTrip and other booking sites. Don’t be fooled by the pictures online, they’re false.
