I only stayed one night, and it was an average experience. The staff were well behaved and the WiFi was good, but there’s no proper heating for winter visits. The heaters didn’t work, and there was no geyser. The hotel is centrally located in a congested lane full of hotels near the market. It’s handy for visiting the golden temple, giani di lassi, and gurudas ram jalebi bhandar. Toto rickshaws are available for 10-20 rupees per person.

The room was big and comfortable for 3 to 4 people, with a wonderful city view. Staff handled things gently, and reception was open 24/7. The hotel was neat and clean, and I had a good experience.

The WiFi was good, and the hotel is near the Golden Temple and Amritsar’s famous lassi shop, Giani di Lassi. The location is only okay, in a congested area packed with hotels. The rooms weren’t up to the mark. There’s no geyser, only solar-panel hot water, and the heater didn’t work in winter. They still charge 500 per heater. Worst hotel of Amritsar.

Our rooms were clean and the service was prompt. More facilities for hot water would have helped us.

We paid the full amount, but the room was extremely dirty when we checked in and wasn’t fit to use. The hotel wouldn’t arrange cleaning right away and told us to wait until 9 AM, which was unacceptable. It’s unfair to expect guests to put up with unhygienic conditions. If housekeeping only starts at 9 AM, they shouldn’t assign rooms before then.
