The staff were very kind and helpful. At midnight, I needed milk boiled for my 10-month-old, and the night staff did it happily. Being close to Golden Temple was a big plus, as was Kesar da dhaba. Most OYO hotels in Amritsar don’t have their own parking, but this one may be able to arrange a few spaces if you ask.

On 1st April, our group of 12 couldn’t get fresh towels or even a room freshener, despite the rooms stinking. The location was bad, and there was no AC or hot water either. I don’t understand how this gets a 4+ rating on the OYO website and 3.6+ here. The ratings seem fake. This hotel deserves no more than 1 star.

The place was decent otherwise, and it’s a 15-20 minute walk to Sri Harmandir Sahib. But the bedsheets were stained. I asked for a change, and the supposedly clean replacements were stained too.

The room was spacious enough, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The other services were a problem, though. Housekeeping, the TV, AC, and hot water all had issues, drinking water was a problem, there was no breakfast, and the hotel dining service wasn’t proper.

The room cost was reasonable, and the OYO rooms are good for a stay. The hotel was very nice, with the amenities available and cleanliness and hygiene properly maintained.
