OYO 15667 Hotel Anand

The room itself was okay, though the amenities felt dull. The bigger problem was how the hotel handled my booking. I had reserved a room for five days, but after two nights the staff and managers at hotel anand told me to leave because someone else had booked it and paid more. That was a really unsettling experience.

The basic things weren't working. The AC barely worked, and the bathroom water either wouldn't come or wouldn't stop once it did. The flush wasn't working either, and the electrical appliances were no good. It makes you wonder if the charge is just for a bed, roof, and blankets.

The rooms weren't clean, and the service was poor. I asked twice for a bottle of RO water and never got one. In the morning I left without bathing because they still hadn't fixed the hot water, even after five complaints. There was no entertainment either. Most TV channels didn't work, and even the free channels weren't included in their package. Channels that cost just Rs 1 or 2 a month weren't included either.

Being so close to the Golden Temple was a big plus, and I'd stay here again. The staff were good, and the rooms were clean and roomy. The washroom could use more attention. Towels and handwash were missing at first, but after I called, they brought them right away. I had a good stay overall.
