Oyo 22678 Hotel Unique House

The hospitality was good and the staff were quite humble. We paid ₹1500 per AC room per night, which seemed reasonable for the location and services. It's about 6 kms from the Golden Temple, just after entering Amritsar through the Amritsar Gate, and clearly visible as the first Oyo Rooms on the opposite side of the road. Parking inside is single lane, though, so if your car is in front and you need to leave, be prepared to move other cars. The owners are usually in their rooms, and the hotel staff didn't know how to drive to help get your car out.

I booked for 16-17 0719 through oyo on 150719, and this property was listed in the app. When I arrived, it had an OYO sign, but the receptionist refused to check me in and said they hadn't been partners with oyo for the past one and a half months. The owner refused too. If they don't want to work with oyo, why haven't they asked oyo to remove the hotel from the available list, marked it sold for ever, or taken down the OYO sign? They still reply to reviews and feedback using an oyo ID. This is just to harass customers. oyo is doing the same thing too.

The owner and everyone else were really friendly, and the rooms were nice and tidy. Great price and excellent hospitality. I'd definitely recommend it.
