Hotel PR Residency

My bike was stolen last week, and neither the receptionist nor the other staff helped. They also refused to share the CCTV footage, saying the cameras weren’t working. The rooms smell awful, the food and service are terrible, and the whole stay felt like hell. I can only suspect the hotel may be involved with the people stealing guests’ belongings and vehicles, but I can’t recommend this place.

The rooms were spacious, the location was excellent, and the staff were decent. I had a great stay here.

The restaurant sent coffee in a filthy flask with insects inside. In the morning, I asked reception for a dental kit at 8 AM and was told housekeeping wouldn’t be available until after 9, so I had to wait. The TV in my room also didn’t work. After several follow-ups, staff called a technician, who said it had technical problems and couldn’t be fixed. He told me, “Sir, I’m also frustrated here, I’m alone, the rooms are sold out, please stay here till my GM is available and you can scold him.” That was highly unprofessional. I stayed here on 4th August, and at night I asked the GM for a duvet cover. He bluntly said they didn’t have one. I then asked him to cover the duvet with bedsheets on both sides while I was out. When I came back, the duvet had been taken away instead. I called reception several times before they returned it, still without any cover or sheet. The service was pathetic, the staff unprofessional, and the cleanliness horrible. Basic amenities were missing or faulty. This was a waste of money and peace of mind, and I strongly recommend avoiding it.

The rooms are nice and very large, but service was below average. We were tourists and ended up waiting around hungry instead of spending our time out. Breakfast was promised for around 8, but arrived at 10. Even morning tea, which we had to pay for, took an hour. Tea, coffee, an extra bed, whatever we asked for, could take one or two hours. At Rs3000 per night, that’s poor service for the price. The hotel was below average overall. Smaller rooms would be fine if they provided better service.
